New York Peace Film Festival presents A Bold Peace

The New York Peace Film Festival will commence with a screening of the documentary A Bold Peace on March 23 at 12pm. This film explores how Costa Rica abolished its army 70 years ago and committed itself to fostering a peaceful society. It has been reaping the benefits ever since. They have survived with safety and relative prosperity for over half a century without a standing army.

The New York Peace Film Festival runs through March 24.
