The Birmingham Co-operative Film Society and The Warehouse - Birmingham Friends of the Earth's Little Green Community will screen the documentary A Bold Peace on November 8 at 7pm. This film explores how 70 years ago Costa Rica abolished its army and committed itself to fostering a peaceful society. It has been reaping the benefits ever since.
